Getting off from the truck, a footpath led us through a neatly kept garden with nothing but green surrounding us. I followed the path which brought us to a huge dinning hall of laid out tables ready to service maybe 100 guests. The dinning hall was very airy and has its own bar. "Wow!" was my reaction upon entering the hall.
I was then led out to a little sitting area which faces the beach. A little touch of paradise.
Close to the little town of Rabaul is this historical place called Kulau Lodge. They have a restaurant, huge grounds, and accommodation with competitive prices for a family get a way.
