Kulau Lodge - East New Britain

Updated: Oct 17, 2018

In Papua New Guinea, "Kulau" is the name given to a young coconut. The sweet, refreshing water is drunk and the soft flesh on the inside of the nut is eaten. On a hot day, a refreshing Kulau is eagerly welcomed.

The Kulau Lodge located in East New Britain Province derives its name from this refreshing young coconut. Positioned in and around the local villages and along the beach, this place is a quiet safe haven perfect for those who may want to leave the busy life of the city or town and enjoy the simple things in life.
